麻豆传媒 President Kevin Dempsey praised the USMCA’s recent expansion of the rules to grant tariff-free status to steel only if the metal is completely melted and poured in a USMCA country. The rule will go into effect in 2027.

鈥淎lthough this requirement has not yet come into force, domestic steelmakers report they believe this future rule is already having an impact, and they expect this requirement could also drive increased sourcing from the region in the future,鈥� Dempsey said.
